About our Sixth Form

The Westfield Academy ethos of high expectations and individual care and support continues into our Sixth Form.

We have a large, popular Sixth Form which offers a broad curriculum with a wide range of A-Level and Vocational courses. Our students are provided with the best opportunities possible.

  • The first of three Cooking on a Budget PSHE sessions kicked off this week with 13W! Led by our brilliant Deborah, students learned how to make sweet chilli chicken from scratch - dicing chicken, boiling rice, and creating their own sauce. They also compared the cost per portion of a home-cooked meal vs their favourite takeaway - great preparation for independent living next year! #PSHE #cooking #sixthform #budget #meal

  • Parkour and Gymnastics: Leaping into Success this Half Term! Over the first half term, some of our students have been busy developing their strength, coordination, and confidence through exciting parkour and gymnastics lessons. From perfecting rolls and vaults to mastering balance and body control, pupils have shown great determination and teamwork. It's been fantastic to see everyone challenging themselves, supporting one another, and celebrating their progress. Well done to all our budding athletes for completing their HT1 parkour and gymnastics unit with such enthusiasm and energy!
