About our Sixth Form

The Westfield Academy ethos of high expectations and individual care and support continues into our Sixth Form.

We have a large, popular Sixth Form which offers a broad curriculum with a wide range of A-Level and Vocational courses. Our students are provided with the best opportunities possible.

Last night we celebrated our incredible Year 11 students at their prom , it was an unforgettable evening! After all their hard work , it was wonderful to see them enjoying a well deserved night of celebrations with their friends and staff. Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so special. A fantastic start to the week for some of our Year 11 leavers, who took part in an A-Level Photography taster session exploring the beautiful cyanotype process. Their creativity and enthusiasm shone through, and the finished prints look amazing! We hope this has inspired the next generation of photographers as they prepare for Sixth Form.

Sponge the Teacher was definitely one of the highlights of our Enterprise Event! Without a doubt, this was one of the most popular stalls of the day, with pupils lining up to soak their teachers! Yesterday we held our very first Business Enterprise Event, open to students from Year 7 all the way through to Year 13and what a fantastic success it was! Our students showcased their creativity and entrepreneurial skills with an amazing range of stalls, including crafts, jewellery, snacks, milkshakes, raffles, and even the ever-popular Sponge the Teacher! A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event and helped make it such a memorable afternoon. Year 7 had a magical day at the Harry Potter Studio Tour ! Students explored a set design workshop, discovering the creativity and craftsmanship behind the films before seeing the incredible sets brought to life in real life . From learning about movie magic to stepping into iconic locations, it was a truly memorable experience for everyone involved .
