I had a lovely walk around the academy site on Friday. As well as learning some Spanish (I never studied it at school) I was lucky enough to see the work of students in our "English booster class." One of the great things about our academy is that we have students of all abilities and backgrounds - a true reflection of the society and community we live in. Some of our students do need extra support and help with their English, if they are to fully succeed in the future. When I passed the class, Miss Alexander was desperate for me to come in and see the quality of the student work - and she was right to do so. The quality of the work and presentation was a credit to her and to her class. It was a privilege for me.
