School Uniform

Trustees, staff and parents are committed to maintaining high standards. Therefore, students are required to wear the correct uniform each day. Our Academy uniform is designed to allow our students to dress in a professional manner. It is an important part of belonging to the Westfield Academy community and helps the students take pride in themselves. Alongside this, when students are in the correct uniform each day, they show that they are prepared to achieve.

If students do not arrive in the correct uniform, a parent / carer may be called to drop off the correct uniform or students will be asked to borrow items from our spare uniform collection at student services.

In exceptional cases, Westfield does hold a small hardship fund to support parents / carers, if needed. All enquiries should be made in writing to admin@westfield.academy.

We will support students with medical conditions that require non-Academy uniform-sanctioned items of clothing. However, all cases to be considered will need to be supported with medical documentation. Students will not be permitted to wear non-school footwear for blisters or minor ailments under any circumstances.

You can find the "Do's" and "Don'ts" of our Academy's uniform policy requirements in our Uniform Policy below.

Second-hand uniforms

The Academy stocks a supply of very good quality, almost new, second-hand Academy uniforms, including PE Kits, which parents can acquire on request for a small donation to the Academy.

An appointment should be arranged with the Admin office - please email admin@westfield.academy. Parents / carers can then come in to make their selection, at which time they can let us know how much they wish to voluntarily donate. The Academy will set up the full donation amount on ParentMail, at the time of visit, so payment can be made on site before taking the items home.

Please note that there are a limited variety of sizes and items available. Parents are to please ensure they have the appropriate payment card method when attending the second-hand uniform shop, as this will be the only method of payment accepted (we are a cashless school).

We also accept good quality second-hand uniform items, which can be dropped off at the reception desk during school hours.
